Atlantic Canada’s largest gathering of Craft Beer, Specialty, Import & Cider! Breweries and agents will be on hand to sample and discuss 300 unique products. One of the top summer festivals in Halifax, this is an event not to be missed.
The Beerfest is held in the Halifax Seaport at the Cunard Centre - 961 Marginal Road. This venue boasts 45,000 sq ft. of indoor space and a 375 ft waterfront patio.
Yes, designated drivers are more than welcome, and for $15 you get entrance to the event and non-alcoholic options to keep you going! You’ll be asked to leave your car keys or ID on file which you collect post event.

Food is NOT included with the ticket however there will be great beer-friendly food for sale from local restaurants and nothing over $6.
Even with the best planning, breweries can occasionally run out of very limited or popular beers. As well, some smaller producers are unable to attend all three sessions and these are noted on the beer list where possible. Luckily, with 300 unique brands to choose from you’ll never go thirsty!
The Festival has a no re-entry policy so please plan accordingly.
The Cunard Centre is a non-smoking facility. A designated smoking area is located on the boardwalk in front of the venue.
All Festival guests are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe way home. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the venue without refund and may be subject to further consequences.
A valid ID is a driver’s license, government-issued photo ID or passport.
Seaport Beerfest has always donated a portion of the net proceeds to various local & national charities. Last year over $5,000 was raised for Prostate Cancer Canada and Adsum for Women & Children.
